Another year is drawing to a close.. Christmas is on it's way & Boxing Day always feels like the beginning of a fresh start.... with the real cleanser coming on January the 1st.

In the crisp embrace of January, a canvas of possibilities unfolds. As the year commences, it heralds a symphony of new beginnings. The air is filled with the promise of fresh starts, whispered by the rustle of winter winds. January, with its icy breath, invites us to shed the burdens of yesteryear and embark on uncharted paths.

The calendar (Call me old fashioned but I still like a slim wall calendar to write on - nothing goes in my phone) a blank parchment, awaits the strokes of our ambitions. Resolutions, like resilient buds, sprout from the soil of determination.

Each day is a page turned, an opportunity seized. January is the architect of metamorphosis, crafting a bridge between the past and the unwritten chapters of the future. In this month, the world is blanketed in the pristine purity of snow, mirroring the possibility of a clean slate. It is a time to reflect on the tapestry of our lives, to untangle threads of the old and weave anew.

January, the alchemist of time, transmutes regrets into lessons and aspirations into plans. The journey of a thousand steps begins with the crisp crunch of snow underfoot.

January invites us to tread lightly into uncharted territories, where resolutions are not mere words but footsteps etched in the frosty ground. It is a season of courage, where the chill in the air is matched by the warmth of determination. As the first month of the year, January is not merely a passage of time but a corridor to transformation. It whispers tales of resilience and beckons us to embrace change.

In its wintry embrace, may we find the strength to shed old skins and emerge, like the world awakening from slumber, into the limitless expanse of new beginnings.

January, for me, will see my website take shape. Until then, I shall amble through December with plenty of Baileys & the fire lit. it is as they say ... the season to be jolly! Cheers!
